St. Joe Boot Company has been a family owned business for 40 years. We are known for our extremely low prices and good customer service. In fact, our prices are so low, we can’t advertise them on the internet. When you come into our store, you will always receive professional help. St. Joe Boot Co. has the largest selection of boots in the Kansas City area. We carry over 17,000 pairs of boots in stock! That’s not all we have, we also carry men’s, women’s, and kids’ clothing and if you need something fixed, check out our repair shop. So come join the family and check us out! Carol Crouser started working as a manager for the business in 1976. “When I first started at ‘the Shop’, there were only 50 pair of boots in the whole store and the other half was a feed store. I then purchased it in 1984. After I that, I focused all of my energy and attention to boots. Within just a few short years, the business started to grow. My son, Craig, started working at ‘the Shop’ when he was 16 years old as the cobbler and has been doing shoe repair up until recently. ‘The Store’ has gone from having 50 pairs of boots to over 17,000. It is all thanks to our faithful customers who have supported us and stuck behind us.” Carol has recently retired, leaving the store to her son and daughter in-law, Craig and Robin Boyer; who will then pass it on to their kids, Kyle and Breanne, who are now working at the store.
